Macrocarpa is a medium-density softwood, easier to ignite than gum and longer burning than pine. It is easy to split, which make it great for kindling. It is known to spark and pop. For this reason, it is not recommended for use in an open fire and is sold per cubic metre.

Macrocarpa is very clean burning.

Having Macrocarpa purchased in bulk is a great way to prep your home for winter. We also offer Hardwood in pre-pack bags for a fast and easy collection.
