Chef's Choice

Kanuka and Manuka is a New Zealand native hardwood. Famous for the flavour it puts into food when burnt – it is preferred in bbq’s and hangi. It also burns considerably longer than other hardwoods. The coals stay hot for hours, creating long-lasting embers and little ash. Manuka has a flaky bark which makes excellent kindling.


Our pre-packed Manuka/Kanuka bags are an ideal swing in and collect way to gets some of our premium wood fast.

Best Use:

This wood is ideal to use in your pizza oven or open fire. It brings a great flavour into your food. It is also a great wood to place on your fireplace. It's an allrounder really!

Storage:

We recommend that you store this wood in a dry area undercover.
